D&D Creations in collaboration with Curiosity Shopped produced this video about the formation of the iconic red rock formations in Garden of the Gods National Natural Landmark in Colorado Springs, CO.
Our job in this project was to create two 3D environments; one featuring the plains of an Upper Jurassic landscape, the other featuring an early alluvial fan in the Late Carboniferous Pennsylvanian Epoch... ...Since this is an educational film (combined with some sci-fi time travelling experience), it was very important to make these landscapes accurate, with the proper plants and terrain formations related to the specific eras.
